A founder who brings lived travel experience and high-trust technical leadership.
Morgan McLellan, Founder & CEO of Marhala AI and a Muslim entrepreneur, is a former UK Civil Service software developer with experience in advanced data integrations and leading technical teams within AI start-ups.
He is also a genuine world traveller who has explored 18 countries, including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Afghanistan and destinations across Europe. That lived travel experience helps Marhala AI design digital products with a deeper understanding of guest expectations, culture and service quality.
Morgan loves discovering new cultures and solving difficult problems. That blend of curiosity, resilience and technical discipline shapes the company’s leadership and the quality of the work it delivers.

AI Software Engineer
Max strengthens Marhala AI's machine learning and hospitality platform delivery.
Max Lepone is an AI Software Engineer at Marhala AI with a First-Class Honours degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Nottingham Trent University.
His academic work focused on Topological Data Analysis and the discovery of hidden patterns in complex, changing systems, giving the team deeper analytical capability as we build practical AI software for hospitality and travel businesses.
Max supports Marhala AI across machine learning features, data-led product thinking, and secure software delivery, helping turn technical research into commercially useful tools for operators.
